It's time to co-ordinate and take action to build important infrastructure for equity in our shared tomorrow. Right now, the human genome is primarily the European human genome. I'll explain why this is a big problem. Let's build the infrastructure to change this. Be you, for us.
Right now, there is a drastic over-representation of European DNA in the human genome.
We need to develop a more equitable representation of all ethnicities in our representation of the human genome so that all people can take part in the fortune that genomics will bring.
Let’s work together to fund a more representative database. If we do not act soon, the consequences will be too impactful to bear.
